There are a lots of chinese temples in Penang, we are praying different kinds of god, some of them we even never heard before. In this series, we are going to discuss about the birthday of god that we celebrate in Penang from January until December. Although we are not expert, but this is what Penang chinese do, and it is our culture in Penang. I guess you wont find so many kinds of temple in HK or any other places. Lets go~

**封神演义确有其事，主要描述文王梦熊后伐纣，不过是后人道教化
有一点想补充，其实正宗大乘佛教乃无神论者。
“华严经”中概述宇宙自然形成之观念,而非神造，强调并无神明。而“佛”乃参透人类生，老，病，死的循环，没有畏惧之心，置七情六欲于外，参透大自然奥妙具有大智慧的觉悟者。非神明类别，乃六道以外。至于“佛”被道教神化，是因为封神演义里，其作者将释迦牟尼叙述成混鲲祖师门下，统领西方众神参与“诸仙战”中。西游记也是如此，其实以上小说为作者为讽刺当代朝廷（明朝）所著，才以神明为暗喻。千万别用肤浅的宗教观与浅白的历史关来批评华夏文化。在下纯心请教，并无恶意。谢谢
